my current moods of the moment:

♠ I badly want a Canon 400D. it's about time i take photography seriously. My mom and dad has been pushing me to take some training and some lessons from my uncle,Lito Sy. but first, i want a new camera.ASAP

♠ I want to change my cellphone. My old cellphone has been with me for a year and 5 months now. And its the first time a cellphone has been with me for a year. Usually, my cellphone doesn't last a year with me coz i have sold it or i have seen something new. And this time, i don't want nokia anymore. Maybe i have enough already with nokia. I want something different for a change like Sony Ericsson.

♠ I want to go to Bohol or Palau. I need some major relaxing at the beach. And since, i haven't been to these places, its is much cheaper and nearer compared to Boracay. Boracay will just have to wait for us. Ü

♠ I need more cash. Period.

♠ My birthday is coming up and hopefully, all of my needs and want i mentioned above will be given to me.heheeh..such a spoiled brat.

I recently am crazy over Enrique. His new song,the pingpong song is such a sweetheart. Especially in his video.Its like i feel that i am the gurl he's after! ahahaha! pathetic,i know but he really has that impact over women. His eyes are so bold and strong that when you look at him in his pics and videos, his stares are very deep and meaningful.You felt like you were being seen naked. ahaha! But really, I have always found him attractive and sexy and Ive always thought that he is the type of guy who breaks women's heart or a promiscuous one. =) I mean,for crying out loud, he is the son of Julio Iglesias,the Don Romantiko of the world..everybody knows that.aihihi...i dunno know what im blabbering about but i like him period =)

Spice Girls Reunite

I just love the Spice Girls! lol! And they are reuniting! Call me lame or baduy but i really like them. They were so popular back in 1997 and those years of stardom adds beautiful memories of my first year in college. I was in Finland then and they were super popular in Europe. Like they were really treated like a royal family. People especially young girls looked up to them. They were a big influence in their lives. Everywhere you go, especially at the malls, you can see a lot of their merchandise. From their super high shoes,to spice shirts to spice polaroids, lollipops, rollerskates, everything! they were everywhere. Some people were sick of them but most people admired them. I love all of their songs and until now, whenever i hear either of their popular songs, it makes me feel good and all my wonderful memories back then flashes before my eyes! hahaha..kidding.. but yeah, it never fails to give myself a smirk.

They will be having a world tour late this year so i wanna watch them perform, even if on television only =)

my first experience as a pre schooler mom

It was my 3 year old daughter's first day of school last June 18,2007 and his father and I were so excited we dropped her off to her school and to her room. It was a new horizon for our little daughter since from the very beginning when she was still a toddler,she wanted to go to school already. And the day had finally arrived that she was all cheers and jumping for joy. I was covering her books secretly because she can't contain herself already and wanted to read and write on her book. As first timers, we have realized that we have moved on to the next level in our lives.

Being a first time mum is exciting as well as disappointing. If you have an overly hyperactive kid, its gets so tiring and frustrating when you see him or her being bullied or bullies other kids. It was an exhausting experience for me and her father when after 2 weeks since school began, we were called by the teacher already because of this and that. Reality check! We were kinda depressed.We keep on finding solutions to what we will do with her or how we treat her whenever she commits a mistake. Blame it on spoilednes, i think and the GENES. I always tell my husband, that we really cannot blame our daughter for her actions since she got it from his side of the family. All of them have really strong personalities and very " BUGOY".They are always goofing around, making dirty jokes, pretty loud and such. And from my side of the family, my mom has always been the stongest one in our kin. She gets what she really wants no matter what. She is full of principles and strongly says whats in her mind.

Fast forward to the present, we have seen changes already. She's been very obedient to her teachers and focuses on her lessons slowly. She's becoming a little lady and a little bit prim and proper at school. She is one of the favorites in her class. She never fails to make her teachers laugh and be proud of her. Kiana has always been very strong willed. She really gets what she wants and for that she sometmes gets in trouble with us or her teachers. She already has a mind of her own. a very smart kid. She is always there to make"badlong" whenever me and her dad argues. She is very friendly with everyone even strangers. We always call her" the kidnapunun kid" because she will really go out of her way greeting anyone and talking to anyone. She is kinda "maldita". Let me put it this way, " dili cia manghilbot kung di cia una hilabtan og dili pud cia magpapildi kung gi hilabtan na cia" She is after all, a Libra. So justice must be equal. =)

We really are proud of Kiana. Big changes have occurred. and we as parents attest that we were successful =)

The price of fame

The Yilmaz-Ruffa feud has been going on for almost a month now. Each of them have talked about their side of the matter. They have been bickering their issues publicly on TV and not settling it privately. Its just so improper for a husband and a wife to exchange words for the whole world to see. We have our own sides to listen to and empathize with. At first, ruffa got my sympathy and now, maybe Yilmaz got mine as well. But i hope all is well no matter what the ending might be. I pity those two little girls who is so innocent to what has been happening to their parents. And what bothers me most is that, they parted ways without confronting and settling the issue personally face to face. It isnt right. No matter how you have hated each other or despise each other, it is just the right thing to do to make amends personally. But I am not Ruffa . so there. =)

Now, on to Hollywood fuss! Only a few days left for Paris Hilton to go to jail. Maybe she deserves it, maybe not. But enough of the abuse already. She's very irresponsible,undisciplined and abusive towards her actions. hopefully, in jail, she will realize how lucky and blessed she is. I lover her shades though =)

And another busted gal! the next Paris Hilton to join her in jail.Maybe,if she continues to do this, she will eventually end up in jail. What is happening to Lindsay? I like her and i still do but i pity her because of what she is doing to her life. She's so wasted and pathetic. She should be careful always because a lot of people will always drag her down. She needs psychiatric help, I say.
And of course, the undying issues of Britney Spears. All i can say is, she has ADD or attention deficit disorder!

Cyber Ethics

I just read this on a magazine and I cant believe how far a person can do when it comes to cyber bullying and stalking. When i was just starting to explore this so-called "Cyberworld", everything was just so amazing, convenient and easy. The internet is such a big help to the society. You can just imagine when will books become obsolete in the near future. But being internet savvy, are we safe to explore more? Are we opening ourselves to the possibility of being stalked(unknowingly)around the world?Are we safe to say that internet is the fastest fad and we have to keep up with it?

As i finished reading the article, it explains why all along some profiles I've (browsingly) seen, was on a private mode and not for everyone to see publicly. Before, i was curious why profiles are set on private. For me, it was just plain stupidity. I can justify to the thought that being part of this cyberworld made anyone,everyone and even Someone to be publicly seen. What i mean is" kung naa naman lang ka gani dri sa internet na makita sa tanan, nganu i butang paman jud sa private ang profile dba? diba, stupid kaayu na" but before anyone attacks me on this issue(hehehe), i now understand their prerogative and their concept about being an internet citizen. There are just a lot of people out there who will go out of their way just to bully and stalk innocent cyber citizens. Im talking about extremely sick nothing-to-do-with-their-lives people. If you think about it, maybe they just sit all day infront of their PC's, bullying,stalking,laughing,obssessing,slothing and such improper, rude netiquettes. And there are also some out there who are mentally ill. So far, being an internet citizen myself, no one has ever bullied me here. or no one has attempted to. I am also very careful when dealing with such new and unfamiliar people. I,for a fact, dont accept(for the sake of being friends online) people who im not acquainted with. Somehow we just have to be responsible with meeting the so called "online buddy". except for the reasons that this online buddy of yours is a friend of a friend. Like there has to be somewhat a connection to why and who you were online buddying with. know what i mean? Its like having a boundary for meeting such. I even have my fair share of buddying but there's got to be some connection from where and not just someone who pops into your screen and wants to be your friend. We are never too careful u know. Somehow, we have to be responsible for ourselves and our actions. You never know, someone already has gotten, imitated your pictures for his/her benefit. or worst, someone has hacked into your account and completely changed or destroyed your websites. Now thats what i call, intervention of rights. The right of a person to post anything and everything whenever s/he wants to.

Keeping one's profile under lock is the safest way to avoid people from stealing your photos, blogs and making sure it does not land in the wrong hands.

wandering

my thoughts are distorted for the past few days. Ive been wanting to blog about marriage and cyber stalkers but to no avail. I procrastinate a lot. All i do is surf and read. tsk..tsk.. i will write soon. im just not in the mood to blog.

Make up free

Dont you think its beautiful when a woman wears no make up ? Like Drew Barrymore here. Isn't she lovely without make up on? Dont get me wrong, i love make ups! I started using it when i was still in High School. During those days, i would bring along my make up kit and do some retach whenever i get the chance. I still laugh at the thought of me putting on make up as a relief tool whenever i had a fight with my then boyfriend.=) We also tend to do it secretly coz we were not allowed to put on make up inside the school campus. But rule benders we were, we managed to get away with it. =) It was a happy moment for me and my barkadas.

When i was in college, putting on make up was a daily routine already. Its like an old habit that dies hard. I only had the usual and basic ones.Not too many. Different shades of lipstick, an eyeshadow, the eyebrow liner(a must have), a foundation, a press powder, lip gloss and a concealer. It takes practice,patience and time to make it beautiful and perfect. Ofcourse, it is also important to pick the right color and texture for your skin. For me, i have really sensitive skin. I wasnt bless to have flawless skin. So i carefully choose my product.

When I got married, i put on less make up because my hubby likes me fresh looking. He likes me without make up on. He isn't against it but he says i look nice without it. But because of work, i have to put minimal amounts only. I always put on lip gloss over lipstick because it smooths your lips and it takes hours before it fades out.

I have to end this entry bluntly coz i have nothing more to say. hehehe =)

Wanna try it?

hahahaha! Would you look at me? Dont i look fat and ugly in this picture? =) It is kinda blurry since i only shot this from my cam phone. It is actually from a Finnish newspaper.

Yes. I was featured in a local newspaper circa 1998 in our small town Salo, Finland. This was taken by the journalist. I was asked to try ice swimming or in their language "AVANTO". At first, I was hesitant to try it but since my host sister and some other Finns will join me, i was excited to go =) See that white thing behind my back? Thats thick ice. They have to dig the ice out and make a square hole so that the water will come out and you dip yourself in it for a few seconds. Before doing this though, of course, you will have to do sauna so that by the time you come out to the lake, it wouldnt be that freezing.Then after dipping, you have to run back in to the sauna. But it would be so much fun if you make angels on the snow before going back in.hehehe. After doing it for a couple of times,you feel so helpless and relaxed =).

I almost forgot all about it when my mum showed me the newspaper days ago. She kept it after a decade.

When the newspaper came out, all of my finnish friends and families were so shock, they were telling me" Are you crazy? it is freezing out there!" I just laughed. Although ice swimming is very popular in their culture, most of the Finns will never try it. =)

It was a great and wonderful experience for me. If ever i will go back there with my family, I will try it again and recommend it to them.hehehe.

I could have died of hypothermia but the Filipino in me was just so proud. naks! =) i was a good ambassador to our country. And they never will forget me.

I feel like Im having a speech here.hehehe

IN MY PART, I PITY KRIS BECAUSE SHE IS PREGNANT AND AS A WIFE, I CAN RELATE TO HER TOO. MEN WILL ALWAYS BE MEN. THEY WILL ONLY CHANGE THEIR TOYS.HONESTLY SPEAKING. BUT EVERYTHING WILL BE SETTLED IF AND ONLY IF BOTH THE HUSBAND AND THE WIFE WILL SETTLE IN AN AGREEMENT AND TALK THINGS OUT. LIKE WHAT SHE SAID, FORGIVENESS IS REALLY A PROCESS. A LONG ONE. IT WILL ALWAYS BE UPON THE PARTNER IF S/HE WILL OPEN UP HIS/HER MIND IN STARTING THINGS ALL OVER AGAIN. IT IS NOT MARTYR BUT A COMPENSATION ON YOUR MARRIAGE. BUT LIKE WHAT THEY SAY," WALAY ASO NA MAKUMKUM". SO EVENTUALLY, WE WERE THE TALK OF OUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS. =). IT TOOK ME A COUPLE OF MONTHS TO A YEAR TO FINALLY FORGAVE EVERYTHING. I ADMIT, IT HAUNTED ME AT NIGHT BUT IM GLAD THAT I HAVE FORGIVEN HER AND NOW, I CAN SAY THAT I AM LOOKING FORWARD IN SEEING HER AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. =)
