a very sickly weekend

I just had the most unhappy and depressing weekend. The FLU family came over to visit us..tsk..tsk.. so depressing! So much for weekend shopping..sigh! My daughter had tonsilitis last week and the weekend that she was much okey, it turned the disease towards me. I was so pissed off! I had so many plans for the weekend. I had to meet up with my friends for our business stuff and I had to go shopping with my family. I thought I was gonna die right there and then. Poor hubby! He was the one taking good care of me and ou little daughter. I was teasing him that he have 2 beautiful patients on an OFF DUTY nite =) anyways, I hate it when I get sick.When you're a person who has lots of priorities and responsibilities, its so hard to keep track of your time. When you need to get things done and you need to take care of a lot of things, and you're just lying in your room, hopeless, it really gets on your nerves. Anyways, enough about me. I receive a message from my friendster account this morning. And its from a Maiyah, i think. i dont know her and havent seen her around CDO. She wrote that a common friend of ours is copying all of her About Me and Who I want to Meet from her friendster profile. What is it with people who has no originality? Why do some of them imitate their profiles? Cant they just make one of their own? Out of passion? Out of creativity? Is that the purpose of browsing your friends profile? To get her ideas and thoughts and creativeness just so you have something nice to put on your profile. Thats just pure plagiarism to me. And I don't like it either when people plagiarize my work. I put so much effort on it and for what? just to make others have the benefit for it? Thats just bad! To Maiyah, Good Luck and if she considered you a friend, she would have apologized. tsk..tsk.. so depressing!

Random Thoughts part n

Life has not been good lately. We cannot escape from what they call the "Midlife Crisis". All the pains and hardships are so hard to just let it pass. Its like everything including nature itself is mocking us. I was reflecting hard about how life should be treated. And its not only here in our country i got basis from but from the whole world as well.

• Everytime I watch the news,it never fails me to be teary eyed especially the war between Israel and Lebanon. Those poor women and children. They have no other choice but either to live or die in a country where war is a mere playground to them. Being an International Studies graduate, as far as i can remember, Israel (i assume) will forever be confident with her status in this world. A secret ally of the US, she will be very much protected and secured. She will always be nurtured and envied because of extremely oil deposits they have. Hezbollah on the other hand is very much like our NPA guerillas here. But the former is much more powerful than the latter. They should be tracked down and eliminated. Being aggressive ofcourse by killing 2 Israeli soldiers is not forgivable to what they might do with civilians around the world. Lebanon (i assume again) will never get help from their allies which is Syria and Iran knowing the US will be at their tails. But Israel should cease fire because they are bombing and shooting anywhere and everywhere in Lebanon. Civilians are the major victims here and not Hezbollah. But i know that is their deep purpose.Lebanese or not , if you're living there, might as well escape,if you can.
  
• Justice here in the Philippines always SUCKS! Especially when you drive in this city, it never fails for disappointment. What is the right way and a wrong way anyway? When you see something or someone that is out of your way, will you just go on and hit him/her right there and then? just because s/he is on the right track? Geez, drivers are so full of sh*t.
  
• Im so tired of friendster already. I wanted to cancel my account. Some of them are so lame and snotty. and yet, I blog here.SOmetimes! hehe. Im so babaw =) Speaking of friendster, I would just like to add to my friends blog about Profiles Set to Private. I dont get it. I know a lot of people who have registered names and stuff and GOD-knows-what-else they are doing in cyberspace, and yet, their profiles are set to private for their friends beautiful eyes only. I mean, for crying out loud, its just so stupid. If you dont want others to see you, then go ahead,be gone from cyber world. So what if others wanted to see your profile, do something that will really make them drool or stalk. What do you have to lose anyway? =)
  
• My Kiana is growing oh so fast! and FYI, I did not get her name from Keanna Reeves. Keanna emerged her escort service thingie months after Yanyan was born. I hate it when people ask me even jokingly if i got her name from her.Anyways, She is adorable and fascinating. She never fails to put a smile on our face.
  
• I badly want to get out of this place. I want to try new things, live somewhere where no one knows us.I think CDO is not a successful place for us to live in. I hope Im wrong but i feel its dragging us down. Every couple has a successful place to raise a family and be merry. and for me, CDO is not the place to be.
  

To end this entry, our president at Jaycees has recognized my blog(thanks miss Gean,i appreciate it =)! ) and asked me to write something at our Jaycees bulletin paper for next year. Im not really good at writing. I dread those days when we have essays and research paper in school that i hate submitting it. But lets see when we get there =)

Super Superman returns!

I just saw Superman Returns and it was worth the wait. He is now officially my favorite iconic character =) My hero! hehe..Brandon Routh did justice in portraying the role. He is a perfect resemblance of the late Christopher Reeves. He is even way taller, bigger and more gorgeous than Christopher. He is also cute when he turns into his alter ego, Clark Kent.

I also love the new Lois Lane. She epitomizes a modern, strong and independent woman. Kate Bosworth is also pretty. Her beauty is of that Jessica Simpson and Natalie Portman altogether. She is one lucky bitch for catching Superman's heart =).sigh.... The movie was really really good! it was made well. I will be waiting for the 2 upcoming superman in the future .
