motivated

i have never been so focused in my entire life. lately, i have alot of things i want to accomplish. hopefully, God will lead me to a job that is really meant for me.i have always been a positive person. and every instincts i feel right now says that i will be successful in everything i will do. if the flow isn't that successful, i always perceive that good things will come to those who wait and believe. :)

• while writing this blog, im listening to kitchie nadal's wag na wag mong sasabihin. i used to hate this song when Lovers in Paris was still on. it was all over the radios and television. for me, it was annoying and SUMO. but when the koreanovela ended, it seems i can't get enough of the song. My daughter even loved it before me. whenever she sees lovers, she imitately hums the song especially the chorus "wooooooo,.." and jumps for joy whenever she hears it. she sometimes prefer to watch lovers than watching cartoons. she's the type of child that cannot behave for 1 second. always running around, dancing, babbling, laughing, giggling and touching everything! but when her favorite is on, milagro ni behave was always our favorite saying.:)

• Last Valentines, was quite fun. jeff and i had dinner at bigbys then went to this bilyaran with his friends. not so romantic since we were surrounded with his friends but still ok lang. we had tanduay!hehe. i really don't drink that's why sometimes jeff won't take me with him when he is with his drinking buddies. i have been drunk before but that was the end of it.gamay ra nga alcohol ako na inom pero buyong nako :) i prefer to drink hard liquors than beer. i really can't take the taste of beer. either lite ones or not. after one bottle, my stomach will go sour then throw up. unlike hard ones, you can only taste it at the back of your mouth then wala na. i was a bit tipsy but i stopped since i still have to take care of little jepjep look- alike. but we had a blast just talking and laughing.

• Constantine is on the theaters now and we are planning to watch it this afternoon. we are a big fan of Keanu Reeves. even my hubby kai gaka bayutan sa iya :). we hardly watch movies on theaters nowadays coz it's quite expensive na. we'd rather buy dvd's coz it's more practical and cost efficient. once in a while is ok but unlike before, everyweek we watch a movie. Constantine is an exception of course.hehehe.

Opinion 1:

There are a lot of on- line journals nowadays. One can be confused what to choose from and will it reach their standards of blogging. There's livejournals, xanga, myspace, greatjournals , bloglines and if you want some professional look, go to typepad. I have the recent issue of the Fortune magazine and on the cover, it says 10 tech trends to watch for on 2005 and suprisingly Blogging is the # 1 spot on the list. it really was quite amazing when they stated that blogging is an online journal democratized by public opinions and power. A great company, country or a great person will be pulled down when a certain person have talked about his insights and his complain just by writing all his opinions on his journal for the world to read. In a matter of seconds after posting his journals, it is like the dreaded HIV that is spread around for the world to witness.there and then you will know that you were being pulled down by an anonymous person who heard his thoughts and concerns just like that *snaps a finger*. It really is quite scary that nowadays, privacy is almost invaded and this will soon be part of your luxury list. Some people want to have the luxury of sleeping since they hardly get any sleep due to the rushness of life. Maybe in some time, the right to privacy will be eliminated and that people from all walks of life will get to know about you in everything and anything that you do.

Opinion 2:

I watched the buzz last sunday and i hated what cristy fermin said about the issue on ethel booba's sex video. It was as if she liked the fact that she was the first to have seen it or even acquired it from someone.like really condemning ethel that she was the one on the video. for crying out loud, she should just shut her vicious, dirty big mouth and let it be. even if it is obviously true, what's in it for her? just because for ratings sake? tsk..tsk...and why do i even patronize these kind of shows? like the buzz or s-files? i dunno. maybe im just one of the typical filipinos who loves catching up on the latest chikas and gossips. shame on me!

Opinion 3:

Valentines is fast approaching. and i still don't know how to celebrate it with my hubby. maybe dinner and then movies? i dunno if i will give him something nice or what. for us, Valentines is just another day but just sweeter. it is just too cliche to say that everyday is a valentines day for us. we still haven't decided how to spend it.

Opinion 4:

For 4 days now, Jepjep and I have been doing our exercises in our subdivision. we brisk walk then jog alternately. we have decided that a daily exercise should be part of our lives. In this way, we can both prevent ourselves from sickness, hypertension and heart diseases. especially jepjep who smokes a lot and eats almost everthing down to the last fat meat he sees. Seriously, i worry about it.he has high blood pressure and doesn't take any medicines to maintain his blood pressure. a daily exercise for even 30 mins. is good for his health . this will decrease 10-20 points from his sistolic blood pressure and that is actually good. and also, we get to bond after a stressful day and catch up on our chikas.

Kung Hei Fat Choi!

It's chinese new year once again! It has been part of our culture since there are so many chinese people living in the Philippines. I have always believed in Feng Shui even if my genes are contrary to my husbands' bloodline. He is 70% chinese by blood but not in practice. My mom is more of the chinese kind than her chinese friends. Most of her chinese friends does'nt celebrate chinese new year. We always tease her about being chinese because of her practices. Last sunday, we watched Rated K and Mel & Joey since their topic was all about geomancers, feng shui experts and such. they talked about the do's and don'ts on new year. Yesterday, we bought fruits, foods, chocolate and the ever present tikoy.as usual we ate until we dropped. we had siomai, machang, pork asado, chicken feet and my favorite, shrimp curry with vegetables. yumyum.. we waited until 12mn to greet the chinese new year. all the lights, doors and windows were opened since they say this will bring all the goodluck inside your home. Our house was the only one glaring last night since our neighbors were all asleep and most of the lights were out. anyways, KUNG HEI FAT CHOI everyone!:)

Yesterday, i went with my mom to one of her lunch dates with her friends at Cafe Laguna. I have tasted their food first in Cebu. When they opened here in Cdo, i was glad that another fine restaurant was being putted up here. whenever i dine there, i always have their fresh lumpia and my favorite Guinumis for beverage. I have not given the opportunity to eat there except on merienda time only. I have always planned to go there with Jepjep and enjoy our fantastic get together alone.just the two of us .but to no avail. Until yesterday, I have tasted the most delicious entree i have ever eaten. we had paella, fish relleno, grilled spareribs and lumpiang hubad. and all of them taste so damn good! My mom was so shocked at me and kept saying "kusoga nimu mu kaon oi." I have never eaten like that before.Usually, i just have one or two main entrees on my plate. and whenever Im full, i stop instantly. but i don't know what has gotten into me that i was craving for more. kumuha ako ng food ng apat na beses. then after the main course, we had ube jam, bibingka and puto bongbong which i also ate. I wasn't that full even! I have always wanted to have an appetite like that since i want to put some more weight.
i will definitely go back one of these days and this time with my family. Jepjep is such a good company when you take him to restaurants or any relation to food. Im sure he will really love it!

well. i finally deleted and editted some of my post!whew! what a relief for me.
